Speaking of features, it’s pretty bare-bones, and seems to be cutting only about ¼ inches of hair with each pass. To yield noticeable results, you’ll have to do at least 3 to 6 passes per strand, depending on how many split ends you have. Due to it being smaller in size, the key to achieving great results is to divide your hair into smaller strands—we recommend about the amount of hair that would fit in a straw. So if your hair is badly damaged, we would only recommend this model if you can’t afford the PRO, because it’d take a lot of patience to rid your hair of all the split ends. Plus, expect the 3 AAA batteries that this trimmer comes with to run out quickly, so make sure you invest in some decent AAA batteries, preferably rechargeable.
